Neuromodulator treatments offer a variety of benefits, such as:
Reduction of wrinkles and fine lines: Neuromodulators relax the muscles that cause wrinkles, resulting in smoother, more youthful-looking skin.
Prevention of future wrinkles: Regular neuromodulator treatments can help prevent new wrinkles from forming, keeping your skin looking youthful for longer.
Non-invasive procedure: Neuromodulator treatments offer noticeable results without the need for surgery or extended downtime.
Quick and convenient: Treatment sessions are typically brief, and many patients can resume their regular activities immediately after.
Versatile treatment: Neuromodulator treatments can address a range of cosmetic concerns, including crow's feet, forehead lines, and frown lines.
Who is a candidate for Neuromodulator treatments?
Ideal candidates for neuromodulator treatments are individuals who:
Desire a non-surgical solution: Neuromodulator treatments offer a non-invasive alternative to surgical procedures, such as brow lifts or eyelid surgery.
Seek to reduce wrinkles and fine lines: Candidates with moderate to severe facial wrinkles, particularly those caused by muscle movement, can benefit from neuromodulator treatments.
Are in good overall health: Ideal candidates should be in good physical health and have realistic expectations about the outcomes of the treatment.
Our goal is to provide customized solutions that align with your unique aesthetic objectives.
Side Effects & Risks
Although neuromodulator treatments are generally safe, there are potential risks and side effects. Most commonly, patients may experience temporary muscle weakness, mild headaches, or bruising, swelling, or redness at the injection site. These temporary effects usually resolve within a few days to a week after the treatment. In rare cases, the neuromodulator may spread to nearby muscles, causing temporary weakness or drooping. At Luminaria Med Studio we prioritize your safety and satisfaction by using advanced techniques, top-quality products, and comprehensive aftercare protocols.
Aftercare
Do NOT have a facial, rub or massage the treated area for 24 hours after your treatment
Do NOT lie down or do strenuous exercise for four hours after treatment. Also, avoid any exposure to a sauna, hot tub or tanning booth for four hours. This will prevent your blood pressure from rising and thus minimize the risk of bruising after treatment
Please be aware that some, though very few patients, experience a mild headache. If headache does occur, you may take Tylenol, 500-1000mg every 6 hours to aid with this if needed.
Be assured that tiny bumps or marks will go away within a few hours after your treatment. There is a small risk of bruising. If this occurs, it will only be temporary and can easily be covered up with makeup. You may also apply arnica cream to speed up the healing process.
To prevent bruising prior to your next injection procedure, make sure to avoid the following for at least 48 hours prior to your procedure: Ibuprofen, Aspirin, Naproxen, Vitamin E, Omega Fatty Acids, St. John’s Wort and Alcohol.
